I actually found myself searching across SPN Dean/Castiel fics for the tag "soul bond", so help me Joss. They're almost inevitable cheesebaskets, the required accompanying premise being "accidental bonding" and "slow burn" where they either fall for each other or admit they'd fallen for each other during the time of having an empathic bond.
Now, that? That's a guilty pleasure and I don't feel guilty about much.
"Fake relationship" also cracks me up, and who doesn't like a bit of "sex pollen/aliens made them do it" every now and again? Clearly not just me.
When it comes to fics without relationships, I don't really have any indulgences. Just things I hate seeing—I avoid "curtain fic" and "kid fic" like the plague—just good old case files.
What about you? What are you proud about liking to read (or write!), and what are you coy about?
